Provides overall leadership, sets strategic direction, handles external stakeholder engagement, and holds final oversight responsibility for JMMBA's priorities and commitments. Jamii — Community Welfare

Coordinates social welfare, solidarity, and inclusive community participation. The Jamii committee organises member support, condolence mobilisation, and the broader community activities that connect people — including co-leading the Community & Environment Hub alongside Mazingira.

Mazingira — Environment

Leads shoreline stewardship, drainage awareness, cleanliness action, and environmental collaboration. The Mazingira committee runs the monthly beach clean-up programme at Rainbow Beach, the tree-planting initiative, and JMMBA's participation in national and international environmental campaigns including UN Zero Waste Day.

Kamati ya Ulinzi

Ulinzi — Safety & Security

Supports community safety, order, and vigilance. The Ulinzi committee coordinates practical local security concerns, liaises with ward-level authorities, and ensures that community events and activities operate in a safe and orderly environment. Ulinzi also contributed to the 7 March 2026 beach clean-up through Ulinzi Shirikishi (community policing) in partnership with Serikali ya Mtaa.
